Lavrov: Armenia, Azerbaijan may be interested in easing tension in relations

Armenia and Azerbaijan are interested in resolving the situation related to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The statement came from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday, TASS reported, according to News.am.
Lavrov said he had spoken with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Jeyhun Bayramov on Monday. "We feel that both sides are interested in calming down the situation in order to resume the meetings which will be organized by the [OSCE Minsk Group] co-chairs’ representatives in the region," the Russian FM said.
