Azerbaijani soldier caught in Armenia handed over to NSS

An Azerbaijani soldier apprehended near Kapan, the administrative center of Armenia’s southeastern Syunik Province bordering Azerbaijan, has been handed over to the National Security Service (NSS), the police told Panorama.am on Friday.
He was spotted and caught by local residents on Thursday before being handed over to the police.
The Azeri serviceman crossed into Armenia with a fellow soldier in yet unclear circumstances on Monday. The latter was detained by Armenia’s security forces shortly after crossing the border.
