Tensions on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border in Nakhchivan are growing

As a result of firing at the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the Sadarak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, an Azerbaijani serviceman was wounded.
"On July 19, at about 23:40, Armenian units from the village of Aradayan in the Vedic region fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces with weapons of various calibers near the village of Heydarabad in the Sadarak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a press release on Tuesday morning.
As a result of the firing, a senior lieutenant of the Azerbaijani armed forces, Badalli Ramal got a wound in the leg. He was provided with first aid and evacuated to the hospital. The enemy was suppressed by return fire.
"At present, the situation in this direction is stable and the operational situation is controlled by the units of our troops," the press release says.
In turn, the Armenian media reported that the head of the community of the Yeraskh settlement, Ararat region, Radik Ogikyan, was wounded during the shootout.
