Iranian Foreign Ministry calls inadmissible firing at its territory by the parties

Tehran considers any attacks on its territory by the parties to the conflict in the zone of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic unacceptable. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Said Khatibzade stated this on Saturday.
“We declare that any kind of attacks on our territory by the parties to the conflict are unacceptable, and we make a serious warning so that all parties show the necessary caution in this regard,” the press service of the Iranian Foreign Ministry quoted him as saying.
Khatibzade added that “we need to stop clashes and start a real dialogue. Tehran is ready to provide assistance to achieve these goals. "
On Thursday, a number of Iranian media reported that several shells fired by one of the participants in the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh accidentally hit an Iranian village in the province of East Azerbaijan.
As a result, several houses were damaged, and a child living in the village was injured. In addition, the Armenian side reported that one of the downed helicopters of Azerbaijan fell on the territory of Iran.
