Yerevan declares that it is ready for border delimitation

Armenia is waiting for the reaction of Azerbaijan - in connection with the demarcation and delimitation works, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan stated this at a briefing on Friday.
“Armenia is ready for demarcation and delimitation works. We have already openly stated this. At the moment, no work is underway. We are waiting for Azerbaijan's response,” Grigoryan said. The Secretary of the Security Council expressed the hope that Azerbaijan will also respond positively, and then it will be possible to start demarcation and delimitation work as soon as possible so that the crisis on the border is resolved as soon as possible, Armenian media quote Grigoryan.
It should be noted that earlier Yerevan rejected the possibility of border delimitation, demanding "the withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces from the territory of Armenia", as well as considering it impossible to delimit the border "until the release of Armenian prisoners." Whether the position of Yerevan has changed will be shown in the near future.
Official Baku has not yet responded to Grigoryan's statement.
