The Romanian army is launching a large-scale project to modernize its ground forces training system. The American company Cubic Defense, known for its advanced military training solutions and combat simulators, has been selected to implement the project. The initiative aims to enhance live, virtual, and constructive training for personnel, increasing the efficiency of exercises, accelerating soldier preparation, and integrating cutting-edge technologies into the training process.

Analysts note that the project not only strengthens Romania’s combat readiness but also represents a strategic move to reinforce NATO’s eastern flank. Given the growing instability in the region and increasing threats near the alliance’s borders, modernizing training systems allows the Romanian army to operate more autonomously and effectively in joint operations with allied forces.

Experts also emphasize that the implementation of Cubic Defense’s comprehensive solutions — from virtual simulations to integrated platforms for combat scenario training — helps establish a new standard for military preparation, shifting the focus from quantity to quality and adapting to modern security challenges.
