Armenia, Azerbaijan hearings kicking off today at International Court of Justice

The trial hearings between Armenia and Azerbaijan are starting Monday at International Court of Justice (ICJ) of the United Nations.

On January 23, and after nearly a year of preparatory work, Yeghishe Kirakosyan, Armenia’s representative for international legal affairs, submitted the country's full complaint and claims against Azerbaijan to the ICJ on behalf of Armenia within the framework of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
