Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Kazakhstan's ex-president Nursultan Nazarbayev in Moscow, Nazarbayev's press service reports.

They discussed the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan.

Nazarbayev congratulated Putin on Russia Day. The parties confirmed that the cooperation between the countries is of equal nature, and their friendly relations will continue for the benefit of both peoples.

The sides wished each other good health and well-being, the report said.
