Shoigu reports to Putin about capture of Mariupol

Russian Defense Minister Shoigu reported to president Vladimir Putin about the capture of Mariupol.
Shoigu also said that more than two thousand “militants” were blocked on the territory of Azovstal. The Armed Forces of Russia and units of the republics of Donbass in Mariupol took all measures to protect the population, he reported to Putin.
According to the minister, despite the opposition of militants, more than 142,000 citizens were evacuated in Mariupol.
Shoigu said that the Russia Armed Forces needed three to four days to complete work on Azovstal, where the militants were blocked.
