Attempts to kill Zelensky thwarted

Britain's The Times reports that at least three attempts have been made on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over the past week.
According to the newspaper, two groups - mercenaries from the Wagner group and Chechen special forces - were sent to assassinate the Ukrainian leader. Each time the attempts were thwarted thanks to the Russian Federal Security Service which opposes the war with Ukraine.
The Wagner mercenaries in Kiev suffered casualties and were surprised at how accurately the Ukrainians anticipated their actions. Also last Saturday, Chechen mercenaries were liquidated on the outskirts of Kiev.
