Armenian army chief sacked
rtak Davtyan has been dismissed as Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces.
The relevant decree was signed by caretaker President Alen Simonyan on Thursday.
The decree cites Article 133 (Part 1) of the Constitution, as well as Article 40 (Part 3) of the law on military service and the status of servicemen.
