Telephone conversation between the presidents of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation

On Wednesday, a telephone conversation took place between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia - Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin.
The conversation took place at the initiative of the Azerbaijani side, the Kremlin press service reported.
“The practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on Nagorno-Karabakh of November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021 were considered. Particular attention was paid to stepping up work in a trilateral format to restore economic ties and transport communications in the South Caucasus, ”the press release says.
During the discussion of current issues on the bilateral agenda, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed their mutual disposition to further strengthen the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership.
It was agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
