Armenian acting minister of defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan discussed the situation in the region with Russia’s counterpart Sergey Shoygu over phone on Monday.

“During the conversation issues on bilateral cooperation, the situation in the region and in the parts of Nagorno Karabakh where Russian peacekeeping contingent implements its tasks were discussed,” Russian MOD said in a statement.
