Moscow says the decision of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to hold early parliamentary elections is an internal affair of sovereign states, the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.

"The Foreign Ministry does not comment on such decisions, since they regard them as an internal affair of sovereign states," the Russian Foreign Ministry said when asked to comment on Pashinyan's decision.
