Askar Mamin appointed Kazakh PM

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed Askar Mamin Prime Minister of the republic, the press service of the Kazakh leader informed on Friday.
"To appoint Mamin Askar Uzakbaiuly Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the presidential decree reads.
Earlier, members of the Kazakh lower chamber of parliament approved the appointment of Askar Mamin as the republic’s Prime Minister with the majority of votes, TASS reported.
