“Information that Turkey is fighting on the side of Azerbaijan is a lie. Turkey is a brotherly country to Azerbaijan and from the first days of the Armenian provocation expressed its full support to us. My brother Erdogan has made numerous, important statements, but Turkey is not involved in the conflict,” Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Al Jazeera TV channel.

The Armenians spread fake news that the Turkish F-16 shot down the Armenian SU-25. Where is the proof? There is none of them. Every plane that takes off into the air is recorded by radars; this can be checked and everything will be clear.

“I am surprised why the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - Russia, the United States, France, do not express their opinion on such fake news. They speak out only on fake news about "transfer of "terrorists" by Turkey into our conflict.  

The accusations that Turkey is sending Syrian rebels here is also fake news, as is the Armenian plane that actually crashed into the mountain through the fault of the pilot,” Aliyev said.
